Nigel Bottrill

Nigel has over 25 years’ experience working within banking, specialising in trade and customer sales finance. He is a seasoned veteran, having started his career in NatWest before holding a number of senior positions at Bank of Boston later Citibank, where he spent 17 years.
During this time, he has been instrumental in developing a number of client facing businesses in EMEA and globally. His latest position was Global Head of Sales Finance Origination at Citi. Throughout this time, he has shown consistent understanding of client needs and developed tailor-made solutions to meet them.
Nigel holds an MBA from Exeter University.
David has more than 20 years’ experience supporting global manufacturers and their regional distribution partners with payables and receivables-based trade finance programs to facilitate sales growth.
He has held senior global client and origination roles with Deutsche Bank, IBM Global Financing, Macquarie Bank and platform-based FinTechs including start-ups.
In managing trade finance relationships with worldwide technology vendors and leading EMEA and AP distributors, David has developed a sound understanding of their sales growth, credit risk and working capital requirements and in recent years extended the focus to include a broader range of channel-based sectors.
Alistair has 15 years' experience working in corporate and investment banking across EMEA and North America. He started his corporate banking career at MUFG UFJ and went on to work for global institutions such as Royal Bank of Scotland and Credit Agricole CIB.
Advising clients across healthcare and general industrials, Alistair has always focused on understanding the needs of his clients in order to offer the best financial advice.
Alistair holds a Bachelor in Business Management from Exeter University.
Denise Bands
Implementation Lead
Denise is an experienced finance professional with over 20 years’ experience in structured and asset finance. She has particular experience in managing complex cross border finance structures and more recently has gained experience in trade finance. Her most recent role was as Trade Finance Portfolio Manager at Investec Bank plc.
Denise holds a BA LLB, is an admitted attorney to the South African courts and has a Higher Diploma in Tax Law. She started her career in South Africa where she grew up and was educated. She has been living and working in London for the past 15 plus years.
Will joined Levantor with 7 years of banking experience working in New Zealand’s largest bank, ANZ. Initially building his career across retail banking & specialising in residential lending, he progressed on to become a Financial Advisor for 3 years in ANZ Private Bank, working with High Net-worth Individuals, Family Trusts, Charitable Organisations, Companies and Family offices on providing Premier Wealth Management Services & tailored Financial Advice on bespoke Investment solutions.
Will is a licensed advisor with the Financial Markets Authority of New Zealand and holds a Certificate in Financial Services from the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
Jeremy has over 30 years experience in Corporate and Investment Banking across EMEA, the Americas and Asia focussing on Treasury Services, Trade Finance, Working Capital and Structured Trade. He has extensive experience of Emerging Markets and working with correspondent banks to secure innovative and market leading solutions.
Jeremy started his career with Ernst & Young and qualified as a Chartered Accountant before moving to 3i, a leading Private Equity firm. He joined Citi as European Financial Controller and subsequently BankBoston, Bank of New York Mellon and finally JPMorgan in senior Global Trade roles. At JPMorgan he was the EMEA Head of Trade & Non Syndicate Loans and also the Global Head of Export & Agency Finance.
Jeremy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a BSc Graduate of the University of Leicester.
Julian has over 30 years experience working in Trade Finance and Corporate Banking for Citigroup Milan and London.
In his most recent role he was responsible for Diversified Industrial Multinationals across the entire Europe Middle East and Africa region.
Julian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in modern languages from Southampton University.
Charlotte has over 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing and communications with companies primarily in the financial and trading sectors. Her roles have taken her to London, Geneva, and Sao Paolo, where she was responsible for new business, marketing, stakeholder communication and investor relations.
Her initial commodities sales role anchored her approach to communications in supporting commercial business objectives. She ties this with creatively making the businesses she works with ‘shine’ through mediums such as social media, websites, support materials and newsletters.
She holds a degree in Languages from King’s College London and is a Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Accredited Practitioner.
